Have You Found Your Niche?

If you answered “YES” then you are on the right track, if you answered “NO” then you need to realize how important it is to you as a blogger. When I first started blogging, I did not understand that I needed a clear focus to what info I was offering my readers, so one day it dawned on me that although I had a lot to say, I was overwhelming my readers with the wide array of topics that I wrote about. I then sit down and wrote a list of all of the topics that I wanted to write about. I then had a clear picture of the direction I wanted to take my blog.

Here Are Some Possible Niches:

A Blog Dedicated To Your Family
A Blog Dedicated To Your Love For Cooking
A Blog Dedicated To Couponing and Deals
A Blog Dedicated To Making Money Online
A Blog Dedicated To Your Ancestry
Let’s face it, this list can go on and on…

Why do you need to just focus your blog on one niche? There are tons of blogs and websites that your readers can choose to read. Think about when you are searching for information, if you were to come across a blog that is mixed topic and another that was dedicated to what you needed, you would choose the one that you didn’t have to read through info that didn’t pertain to your search. Your readers will appreciate the fact that you have dedicated your blog to a specific topic for ease of reading and most likely become dedicated readers of your blog.
